El alcalde (e) de la Municipalidad Provincial de Trujillo, Mario Reyna Rodríguez se reunirá este lunes 13 de febrero, en Lima, con la presidenta del República, Dina Boluarte, para abordar temas relacionados con la seguridad, el bienestar de las familias y el desarrollo de nuestra provincia.
La cita fue confirmada por el Despacho Presidencial y en ella también participarán los alcaldes distritales de la provincia, a pedido del burgomaestre, que abordará en esta reunión: erosión costera, la difícil situación de la economía municipal, el plan de convivencia de seguridad ciudadana y los grandes proyectos para la ciudad.
Reyna se encuentra en Lima, donde ayer (miércoles) se reunió con representantes de la empresa Tracto Camiones, que vendió 17 compactadoras Shacman a la anterior gestión edil, de las que 10 están funcionando y 7 en proceso de mejora y se necesita que le hagan una revisión técnica.
A esta empresa le pidió capacitar a los choferes de Servicios Generales de la MPT en el manejo de estas máquinas para que ante cualquier intento de los trabajadores del Servicio de Gestión Ambiental – SEGAT, de querer paralizar sus labores de manera injustificada, sean manejadas por este personal y a sola firma del alcalde las compactadoras sean trasladadas para uso de Servicios Generales.
Indicó que no se puede exponer a la población con una paralización injustificada y dejar a la ciudad sucia y expuesta a una serie de problemas ambientales y de salud pública. Trujillo no se puede quedar sin que se atienda el recojo de residuos domiciliarios por un paro cuando no se les debe sueldos. Lo único que está en consulta ante Servir es el pago de un bono y eso no es justificación para que toda una ciudad se vea perjudicada por la falta de este servicio, señaló.
Si alguien hizo las cosas mal en gestiones anteriores no es responsabilidad de la ciudad de Trujillo. Solo se va a pagar lo que está dentro de los términos legales. Para eso hemos viajado a Lima, agregó.
“No vamos a dejarnos chantajear por nadie. La ciudad debe estar limpia. Esto es un tema de salubridad y las autoridades competentes ya tienen conocimiento”, dijo.
La autoridad adelantó que Trujillo necesita más compactadoras y que aprovechará su visita a Lima para ver la manera de acceder a presupuestos que permitan su adquisición, para lo que pedirá también el apoyo de la presidenta de la República, así como para el tema de la seguridad ciudadana.
En cuanto a los contenedores que hay en diversas calles, precisó que son donaciones de empresas y personas que las compraron voluntariamente y se encargaron de ubicarlas. Estos depósitos aún no pueden ser recogidos directamente desde las compactadoras por falta de dispositivos, pero es un tema que se solucionará pronto.
Respecto a la situación económica del Segat, indicó que nunca estuvo en ‘azul’ y que siempre se subvencionó el pago de los trabajadores, lo que viene ocurriendo hace más de una década y seguirá así mientras se siga haciendo más de lo mismo.
ELIMINACIÓN DE ESCOMBROS
Adelantó que se emitirá una nueva ordenanza para la eliminación de escombros. Estos solo se podrán retirar mediante la contratación de una empresa (EPS) o a través del propio Segat. Ya no con triciclos, carretilleros, motocargueros o camioncitos porque los botan en la ciudad aprovechando las noches.
