El proyecto BRT prevé dotar 120 buses rápidos, que serían eléctricos.
Con la instalación del Comité de Gobernanza del Proyecto BRT (buses de transporte rápido para Trujillo), que se coordina hace tres gestiones municipales, ingresamos a una etapa más ejecutiva para hacer realidad este objetivo de contar con movilidad sostenible, masiva, rápida, segura y económica entre el norte y sur de la ciudad.
Así indicó el gerente de Transportes Metropolitanos de Trujillo (MT), Víctor del Carpio Sedano, precisando que este comité será el espacio en el que definirán responsabilidades de los actores del proyecto y en el que se verán temas técnicos y adoptarán decisiones en relación a los distintos aspectos que se deban abordar para avanzar, como la liberación de terrenos o financiamiento, entre otros.
En enero de este año estuvo en Trujillo el equipo completo de Promovilidad y representantes de los organismos internacionales que financiarán el proyecto, pero las labores se interrumpieron por las lluvias del pasado 10 de marzo y ahora se retoman con mayor dinamismo. No se puede seguir aplazando esto porque tratándose de préstamos internacionales eso genera intereses, explicó.
En la reunión de trabajo de ayer participó Carolina Lenkey, directora ejecutiva del Programa Nacional de Transporte Urbano Sostenible – Promovilidad, que también integra el citado comité junto a representantes de la CAF y KFW (estos últimos participaron virtualmente), que son los financian este proyecto.
También lo hicieron el director de Inversiones del MTC, coordinador del BRT en Trujillo, los gerentes de Trabajo y de Infraestructura del gobierno regional; el gerente municipal de la MPT Ronald Angulo Navarro, los gerentes de Plandet, Obras Públicas y el de Desarrollo Urbano, entre otros.
Como parte de las acciones a desarrollar por el comité, ayer se adoptarían acuerdos y acciones conjuntas a desarrollar en la hoja de ruta del Sistema Integrado de Transporte para Trujillo y del Proyecto BRT. Hoy se reúnen en TMT para definir temas de detalle técnico y para hacer un reconocimiento al trazo del proyecto del corredor.
Hay componentes por revisar, como el tema de expropiaciones. Hay poco más de 20 predios privados que deben ser expropiados porque se superponen sobre el trazado del proyecto. Para eso se va a hacer un trabajo muy detallado para poder determinar con exactitud esos polígonos a intervenir, señaló seguidamente Del Carpio.
Adelantó que en función a la visita a Bogotá, para observar los avances de su sistema integral de transporte rápido, propondrá que los 120 buses previstos implementar en Trujillo en el proyecto BRT -de los que 60 son de 18 m. de longitud y 60 de 9 m.-, sean eléctricos, similares a los que se utilizan en Colombia en sus corredores de tránsito rápido de alta capacidad y ya no una flota de buses a gas natural.
“Sería la primera flota de buses eléctricos en el país. Esa es una posibilidad que se analizará considerando que se está por elaborar el expediente técnico del proyecto, lo que debe demorar todo este año y el proceso constructivo un año y medio o dos”, dijo.
