La próxima semana debe llegar otro lote enviado por Conadis.
La Subgerencia de Derechos Humanos de la Municipalidad Provincial de Trujillo (MPT), empezó a entregar desde ayer un lote de carnets enviados desde Lima por el Consejo Nacional para la Integración de las Personas con Discapacidad (Conadis).
Este primer lote incluye 57 carnets para personas con discapacidad severa (amarillos) y 18 carnes para personas con discapacidad moderada o leve (celestes) de nuestra provincia a quienes hemos ayudado gestionar este documento, dijo Marco Quintana, subgerente de esta dependencia de la comuna provincial.
Según adelantó, la próxima semana debe llegar otro paquete. Además, explicó que quienes poseen este carnet pueden acceder a los beneficios de servicios, programas y otros que la Ley N° 30412 faculta.
En Omaped están inscritas más de tres mil personas con discapacidad, pero se estima que hay muchas más que no se han inscrito por vergüenza o temor al ¿qué dirán?.
“Hay casos de padres que no quieren registrar a sus hijos por estos motivos y privan a los menores de las terapias de fisioterapia o de otros beneficios que está ofreciendo la Municipalidad de Trujillo”, dijo el funcionario.
Quintana invitó a quienes gestionaron este documento, que es totalmente gratuito, a acercarse a las oficinas de Omaped en Mz “R” lote 11, en la 2da. etapa de la urbanización Los Portales, para que les sea entregado.
Según explicó este carnet les ayudará a ir insertándose en la sociedad y obtener diversos beneficios y derechos como el pase libre en el transporte público urbano e interurbano para las personas con discapacidad severa.
La Ley N° 30412, señala: “Las personas con discapacidad severa inscritas en el registro del Consejo Nacional para la Integración de la Persona con Discapacidad (Conadis) tienen pase libre en el servicio de transporte público terrestre urbano e interurbano; y el carné amarillo es otorgado por Conadis en función al certificado de discapacidad que emiten los establecimientos de salud autorizados.
Las personas con discapacidad también tienen derecho preferencial en determinados servicios, la reserva del 5 % de vacantes en las universidades para las personas con discapacidad; el acceso a créditos preferenciales para los programas que impulsa el Gobierno Nacional y que las entidades públicas contraten al 5% del total de sus trabajadores y el 3% en las empresas privadas con 50 a más trabajadores en planilla.
Además, el 25 % de las entradas de los espectáculos deportivos auspiciados por el Estado son destinados a las personas con discapacidad.
