La demanda de profesionales TI en el país está en constante crecimiento. Es así que, los bootcamps de programación y ciencia de datos se han convertido en la opción cada vez más popular para aquellos que buscan una carrera en el sector tecnológico en Perú, pues muchos de los graduados de bootcamps tienen una amplia gama de oportunidades de trabajo en la industria, y la mayoría de ellos logran encontrar empleo en un plazo de entre 2 y 6 meses.
Perú es el quinto país de Latinoamérica con mayor demanda por profesionales TI, según el estudio Prospección del mercado de TI en Perú, realizado por la oficina Promotora de Comercio Exterior de Costa Rica (Procomer). Además, se proyecta que para 2024 se necesitarán más de 410.000 profesionales TI solo en Perú, Colombia, Bolivia y Ecuador, según la Comunidad Andina.
“Los graduados de bootcamps de programación y ciencia de datos tienen una amplia gama de oportunidades de trabajo en la industria tecnológica y ciencia de datos. Son altamente valorados en la industria debido a su experiencia práctica y su capacidad para aplicar rápidamente los conocimientos técnicos”, explica Sebastián Espinosa, director ejecutivo de Coding Dojo Latinoamérica.
Ante este panorama, la Academia de Programación Coding Dojo, detalla cuáles son los cinco trabajos más comunes y de mayor crecimiento que obtienen los graduados de los bootcamps:
- Desarrollador de software. Son responsables de crear y mantener aplicaciones y sistemas informáticos. Requieren conocimientos en lenguajes de programación, estructuras de datos y sistemas de bases de datos, backend y frontend. Es el perfil más demandado por empresas tech y startups tecnológicas.
- Científico de datos. Utilizan técnicas de análisis estadístico y aprendizaje automático para analizar grandes cantidades de datos y obtener información valiosa. Requieren conocimientos en programación, matemáticas, estadísticas y minería de datos. Son perfiles demandados por todo tipo de industrias, tech y no tech, que requieren analizar grandes cantidades de información para mejorar sus procesos y la productividad.
Son cargos con buenos sueldos de entrada y que cada año aumentan sus cupos.
- Desarrollador web. Crean y mantienen sitios web y aplicaciones web. Requieren conocimientos en lenguajes de programación, diseño web y sistemas de bases de datos. También cuentan con conocimientos de backend y frontend, pudiendo desenvolverse en muchos casos también como jefes de proyectos web.
- Ingenieros cloud. Son responsables de la gestión, migración, actualización y mantenimiento de la información de una empresa en la nube. Diseñar, ordenar y gestionar el funcionamiento de empresas que cada vez están invirtiendo más en la infraestructura en la nube es uno de los trabajos que más requieren las empresas hoy. Requieren conocimientos en redes de computadoras, sistemas operativos y seguridad informática.
- Analista de seguridad. Se encargan de proteger los sistemas informáticos y la información de una organización. Para ello deben contar con conocimientos de programación y manejo de estructuras para almacenar datos, y seguridad en la nube.
