La empresa pondrá en marcha una serie de actividades que involucran mejoras en las instalaciones eléctricas de transmisión, distribución y conexión en sectores críticos.
Para hacer frente a la eventualidad de presentarse un “Niño Costero”, fenómeno natural que amenaza principalmente a las ciudades de la costa norte del Perú, Hidrandina anunció un Plan de Contingencias que permitirá disminuir el impacto de las lluvias en la infraestructura eléctrica de la empresa, la misma que se ubica a lo largo de su concesión eléctrica en las regiones de La Libertad, Cajamarca y Ancash.
La información de la Comisión Multisectorial encargada del Estudio Nacional del Fenómeno El Niño (ENFEN) ha elevado la alerta de ‘vigilancia’ a estado de ‘alerta’. En este sentido, teniendo en cuenta las consecuencias de este fenómeno climatológico, Hidrandina, ha activado su Plan de Contingencias porque esta manifestación de la naturaleza afecta la vida cotidiana de las personas, la economía y los servicios básicos, como el suministro de energía eléctrica.
Como se sabe los efectos del reciente ciclón Yaku, han dejado como saldo alrededor de 69 fallecidos y más de 10,000 damnificados; un ambiente de desolación y dolor por las intensas lluvias que provocaron inundaciones y desbordes de ríos en diversas ciudades del Perú y de países vecinos.
En ese sentido, Hidrandina, de manera responsable, ha implementado el “Plan de Contingencia frente al fenómeno El Niño”, con el objetivo de garantizar un suministro eléctrico seguro y oportuno en caso de posibles interrupciones.
Voceros de la empresa, explicaron que, a través de un plan de inversiones eficiente y acelerado en todas sus zonas de influencia, como La Libertad, Áncash y parte de Cajamarca, Hidrandina pondrá en marcha una serie de actividades que involucran mejoras en instalaciones eléctricas de transmisión, distribución y la conexión de los clientes en sectores críticos.
Asimismo, la Compañía realizará el mantenimiento y mejora de 308 mil conexiones de acometidas de clientes, mejorando las redes de distribución; incorporando para este objetivo una mayor cantidad de personal técnico y cuadrillas de trabajo de campo ante emergencias.
Cabe precisar que el Grupo Distriluz, que conforman las empresas Enosa, Ensa, Hidrandina y Electrocentro, invertirán cerca de S/ 70 millones, lo que representa un adicional de 20 % del presupuesto de inversiones anual, el cual asciende a S/ 374 millones.
Con este plan, el Grupo Distriluz busca estar preparado y responder rápidamente a las posibles consecuencias que el fenómeno climático pueda generar.
