Expertos de LG Perú brindan cinco recomendaciones para cuidar la ropa de la mejor manera
LIMA, 25 de mayo, 2023 — Cada vez es más frecuente encontrar en el mercado prendas hechas con materiales delicados, como encaje, spandex o lino. Estos tejidos requieren cuidados especiales a la hora del lavado, con el fin de prolongar su vida útil y mantener su aspecto original. El tratamiento inadecuado no solo significa un gasto innecesario para el usuario, sino que también tiene un impacto ambiental negativo, ya que las prendas dañadas suelen desecharse en lugar de ser recicladas.
Por ello, expertos de LG Perú, brindan 5 consejos para lavar y cuidar las prendas de la mejor manera:
- Utiliza el detergente según el grado de suciedad de la ropa: La mayoría de fabricantes indican la cantidad recomendada, sea en mililitros o gramos, según la cantidad de prendas o la suciedad de la misma. Es importante no utilizar detergente de más, ya que, además de contaminar el medioambiente y afectar el funcionamiento de la lavadora, la ropa se puede quedar con restos, generando un tacto graso.
- Clasifique las prendas: Separe las prendas por colores y tejidos antes de lavarlas. Esto evita que se manchen o se decoloren durante el lavado, así como permite que su vida útil sea mucho más larga. Las prendas de tejidos delicados, como la seda o el lino, necesitan un tratamiento especial para evitar que se dañen. Por ejemplo, si se lavan junto con prendas más resistentes, como el denim, pueden enredarse, o incluso romperse.
- Revisa la capacidad máxima de la lavadora: La manera correcta de ingresar la ropa, es utilizar 3/4 partes de la tina. Si se llena al tope, se dificulta la circulación del agua y del detergente, lo que puede dar lugar a que la ropa no se lave adecuadamente y quede con manchas o suciedad incrustada. Además, el motor de la lavadora se daña cuando se sobrecarga la tina.
- Use una bolsa de lavado: Para brindar doble protección o evitar que las prendas se enreden, se puede optar por utilizar bolsas especiales para lavado. Estas cuentan con un cierre y usualmente son elaboradas de poliéster tipo malla o tul, lo que permite que la prenda se lave de igual manera, sin necesidad de tener contacto directo con otras prendas. Asimismo, entre sus demás beneficios, es que son reutilizables, resistentes y se venden en diferentes tamaños.
- Evita usar la secadora por un tiempo prolongado: Las prendas delicadas suelen estar hechas de materiales más sensibles, por lo que pueden ser más propensas a encogerse, deformarse o dañarse si se exponen a altas temperaturas durante un tiempo prolongado. Se puede secar por algunos minutos y posteriormente, dejarlas al aire libre.
Los expertos recomiendan además, revisar previamente las funcionalidades de la lavadora, ya que, actualmente, muchas de ellas cuentan con inteligencia artificial y características personalizadas para el usuario. En el caso de LG Electronics, la tecnología ThinQ, presente en todas sus lavadoras a partir del año 2017, es capaz de identificar el material de las prendas y analizar los patrones de consumo, con el fin de recomendar el modo de lavado ideal. Asimismo, gracias a la optimización de estos procesos, el usuario puede ahorrar alrededor del 36% de consumo de energía a comparación de otras lavadoras.
