En el marco del cuarto aniversario de la aerolínea SKY en Perú brindó un balance de sus operaciones en la ciudad de Trujillo. Desde su ingreso al mercado nacional, la línea aérea ha transportado casi 480 mil de pasajeros desde y hacia la Ciudad de la eterna primavera.
La aerolínea low cost ingresó al mercado peruano en abril del 2019 con ocho destinos nacionales, que hoy se han convertido en 16. Ha logrado trasladar a más de 6.3 millones desde el inicio de sus operaciones domésticas.
Durante estos 4 años, Trujillo se ha posicionado como uno de los destinos más solicitados en Perú, por lo que hoy opera 2 frecuencias diarias. Solo en lo que va del año, la low cost ha transportado a 89,467 viajeros hacia y desde Trujillo en 780 vuelos.

En SKY, nos sentimos sumamente orgullosos de haber trasladado casi a medio millón de pasajeros hacia y desde Trujillo a lo largo de estos 4 años volando dentro del país y proyectamos seguir contribuyendo con la conectividad de La Libertad y todo el norte peruano”, señaló Franco Chaparro, gerente de Ventas de SKY en Perú.
De cara al 2023, la aerolínea proyecta transportar 296,582 pasajeros desde Trujillo a Lima y viceversa en casi 2 mil vuelos, con un factor de ocupación del 81%. Estos viajes, además, se presentan como una oportunidad para los trujillanos que quieren viajar hacia el extranjero con tarifas low cost a través de vuelos que conectan Perú con 5 destinos internacionales: Miami, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Punta Cana, Cancún y -desde el mes de julio- Sao Paulo.
De esta manera, SKY continúa reafirmando su compromiso por consolidar la oferta low cost, aprovechando la reactivación de la demanda de pasajeros tras dos años golpeados por la pandemia.

SKY es una aerolínea chilena low cost con 22 años de historia, con presencia en 8 países de América, opera a nivel doméstico e internacional desde sus filiales en Chile y en Perú, trasladando hasta la fecha a más de 50 millones de pasajeros.
