Personal de la Municipalidad Provincial de Trujillo (MPT) continúa fumigando locales escolares de la ciudad para evitar que el vector del dengue, el aedes aegypti se siga reproduciendo y esto ocasione más contagios entre la comunidad educativa, especialmente entre los niños.
Esta vez, personal de la Subgerencia de Salud realizó la fumigación en dos importantes instituciones educativas: el colegio peruano americano Abraham Lincoln y el centro de educación básica alternativa (CEBA) Javier Pérez de Cuellar.
Antes la MPT había intervenido con este mismo motivo los locales de los Pronoei: Pequeños Genios, Semillitas de Amor, Mis Primeros Pasos, Evelyn Rojas Rosado, Juan Foro Saldaña, Gotitas de Jesús, Niños de Belén y Capullitos de Amor.
El personal de la subgerencia de Salud de la MPT que realiza la fumigación está debidamente capacitado y tiene experiencia en estas labores de nebulización, las que van a continuar.
Esta labor se complementa con charlas a los alumnos y exposiciones relacionadas al desarrollo de control larvario y fumigaciones en locales escolares.
Después de la fumigación se debe dejar el local cerrado por 30 minutos a 1 hora antes de volver a entrar y abrir las ventanas durante un par de horas.
Igualmente intervinieron en los comedores populares del distrito La Esperanza, entre otros: “Enmanuel”, del asentamiento humano Clementina Peralta; “Nuevo Edén”, ubicado en el AA.HH. Los Cipreses.
“En el comedor Nuevo Edén, se tuvo conocimiento que había socios infectados con dengue”, dijo la subgerente de Salud de la MPT, Caroline Ávila.
