– Perú Runners confirma fecha para la media maratón más antigua del mundo: domingo 27 de agosto del 2023.
– Kia y Puma serán los grandes aliados del evento, prometiendo una fiesta deportiva del más alto nivel.
– Se espera superar a los 13 mil corredores que hubo en la edición 2022.
– La partida como todos años será en la Plaza Mayor de Lima y la llegada en el Circuito Mágico del Agua del Parque de la Reserva.
– Se correrán 10K y 21K.
– Las inscripciones estarán abiertas desde el 11 de diciembre del 2022.
La Media Maratón de Lima es la 21k más antigua del mundo y el 2023 estará celebrando sus 114 ediciones regresando a su fecha original, cercana a la conmemoración de Santa Rosa de Lima (el 2022 se realizó en el mes de Julio, como parte de la continuación de celebraciones del Bicentenario del Perú).
La carrera es organizada por Peru Runners conjuntamente con la Municipalidad de Lima, y en alianza con Kia y Puma, reconocidas marcas del sector automovilístico y deportivo respectivamente. Las inscripciones estarán disponibles a partir del 11 de diciembre del presente año. Toda la información puede encontrarse en las redes oficiales @perurunners en Facebook, Instagram y Twitter.
Como ya es costumbre, la Kia Media Maratón de Lima Powered by Puma tendrá sus modalidades de 21K y 10K, y la partida se dará en la Plaza Mayor de Lima y la llegada en el Circuito Mágico del Agua del Parque de la Reserva. El recorrido será por lugares tradicionales de la capital, por lo que todos los corredores podrán, además, disfrutar de la arquitectura limeña.
La ruta para los 10K será por el Jirón de la Unión, Paseo de los Héroes Navales, Paseo de la República y la Avenida Arequipa. Por su parte, el trayecto de 21K tendrá un camino adicional por Canaval y Moreyra, Carriquiry, Avenida del Parque Norte y Juan de Arona.
La primera edición de la Media Maratón de Lima se llevó a cabo en 1909. En esa oportunidad, fueron 70 los participantes que marcaron un hito en la historia runner no sólo limeña, sino mundial. Para el 2023, se esperan más de 12 mil corredores inscritos entre los 10 y 21K.
