La historia de María Rosaisela Acevedo Gamboa, joven con discapacidad intelectual, es una que inspira y llena de esperanza. Ella ha logrado destacar en el deporte y forma parte de la selección nacional de atletismo en los Juegos Mundiales de Verano de Olimpiadas Especiales en Berlín, Alemania que se realizará en la quincena de junio.
El Centro de Educación Básica Especial Mi Mundo Feliz, ubicado en el centro poblado Víctor Raúl Haya de La Torre, en la provincia de Virú, alberga a 40 niñas y niños con habilidades diferentes, y es allí donde se está gesta esta conmovedora historia de superación.
María Rosaisela Acevedo Gamboa, una adolescente de 16 años, ha sido seleccionada para representar a la región La Libertad en los Juegos Mundiales de Verano de Olimpiadas Especiales, que se llevarán a cabo en Berlín, Alemania.
Gracias a una alimentación rica, nutritiva y variada proporcionada por el Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Qali Warma, del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis), María Rosaisela tiene la energía y la concentración necesarias para destacar en su deporte favorito.
En su escuela, el Centro de Educación Básica Especial Mi Mundo Feliz, ella ha ganado medallas de oro y plata en las olimpiadas regionales, así como una medalla de oro por mejor deportista con habilidades diferentes.
En su colegio, las niñas y niños reciben alimentos ricos, nutritivos y variados gracias al Programa Qali Warma. Y con ello, María Rosaisela se siente más concentrada en clase y tiene mucha energía para destacar en el atletismo.
Ella ha demostrado una destreza increíble en el atletismo y ha ganado una medalla de oro como mejor deportista con habilidades diferentes.
La directora del CEBE Mi Mundo Feliz, Carmen Rita Montenegro Lozano está muy orgullosa de tener a María Rosaisela como representante de la región La Libertad en las Olimpiadas Mundiales de Berlín. Con su esfuerzo, disciplina y motivación, ella ha demostrado que los obstáculos pueden ser superados y las metas alcanzadas.
Su profesora, Andrea de los Ángeles González Calixto, nos comenta que Rosaisela es una niña muy alegre e inteligente, a la que le gusta que la estén motivando y sentir el aliento de sus compañeros y profesoras. Durante los entrenamientos, ella empezó de manera tímida y corría poco, pero al escuchar las palabras motivadoras de sus entrenadoras y sus familiares, el día central del evento prácticamente “voló” y ganó logrando así su pase a las Olimpiadas Especiales de Berlín en Alemania.
Entre los productos que entrega Qali Warma en Virú destacan la hojuela de avena con kiwicha, harina de habas, aceite vegetal, arroz fortificado, conserva de pollo, conserva de pescado en aceite, fideos, galleta con cereales, galleta con maca y galleta integral, harina de trigo y lenteja, entre otros.
En La Libertad, el Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Qali Warma atiende a 3663 escuelas públicas con 273 896 niñas, niños y adolescentes de los niveles de inicial y primaria, así como secundaria con jornada escolar completa (JEC) y formas de atención diversificada (FAD). De esta forma, las niñas y niños pueden recibir una alimentación adecuada para un desarrollo saludable y exitoso.
Esta historia demuestra que con esfuerzo y disciplina se pueden lograr las metas, incluso cuando se tienen obstáculos. María Rosaisela Acevedo Gamboa es un ejemplo a seguir y una prueba del poder transformador del deporte y la alimentación saludable.
