- Alfonso Medrano, presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de La Libertad, informó que el kilo de pollo no debe costar más de 8.50 soles y exhorta a los minoristas a no especular con los precios.
El presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de La Libertad (CCLL), Alfonso Medrano Samame, solicitó a las autoridades tanto de la Superintendencia Nacional de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT), el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (Indecopi), como de los municipios provinciales y distritales, a fiscalizar el precio de la venta de pollo, dado que ha disminuido por kilo; sin embargo, en algunos mercados locales aún se sigue comercializando hasta en S/ 12.00 el kilo.
POSICIÓN. “Actualmente el precio de alimentos de las aves, tanto maíz como soya, se ha estabilizado a nivel internacional; por ende, ha bajado el precio de la carne de pollo. Consideramos que existe una distorsión que obedece a temas especulativos por parte de los comerciantes minoristas al querer cobrar un precio elevado, lo cual atenta contra la economía de las familias, especialmente de aquellas de escasos recursos. No se puede jugar con el hambre de la población”, manifestó Medrano Samame.
El gremio empresarial, consciente de la importancia de mantener un equilibrio económico y de garantizar el acceso a proteínas de calidad, ha instado a estas entidades como SUNAT e Indecopi a trabajar de manera conjunta, a fin de velar por el bienestar económico de la población y asegurar que todos puedan acceder a una alimentación adecuada.
HUEVOS. Respecto al precio en los huevos, Medrano Samame, indicó que este se restablecería en el mes de julio, dado que de manera progresiva se están recuperando a las aves ponedoras que fueron afectadas por la gripe aviar en la región. Una vez restablecido el número de ponedoras se estabilizará el precio del huevo.
La Cámara de Comercio de La Libertad, alerta esta situación con la finalidad de evitar un impacto negativo en la economía de la población, quienes ven afectado su consumo por los desajustes registrados en meses anteriores, respecto al precio del pollo, ave más consumida y que representa el 70 % de la proteína que integra la canasta alimenticia de los peruanos.
