Santuario Nacional de Calipuy celebra el II festival regional de la Puya Raimondi.
Calipuy se viste de gala nuevamente, ahora con el II Festival de la Puya Raimondi que se realizará del 30 de junio al 01 de julio.
Como parte del festival se realizará un certamen de belleza denominado ‘La Flor de la Cahua’ que se realizará este 22 de junio en el centro poblado de Calipuy. Las instituciones que están coordinando esta actividad son la Municipalidad Provincial de Santiago de Chuco, Sernap y la Municipalidad del Centro Poblado de Calipuy.
Al respecto el alcalde de la Municipalidad del Centro Poblado de Calipuy, Luis Alberto Sánchez, mencionó que “ya se ha realizado la convocatoria para este evento de tal magnitud y esperamos la participación de los caseríos, especialmente de la zona de amortiguamiento con su representante que aspira a este importante título”.
“Este es un concurso que tradicionalmente busca seleccionar a mujeres con cualidades físicas y que, sumado a ello, tengan características que resalten la personalidad, inteligencia y talento”, enfatizó Sánchez alcalde de Calipuy.
Se destaca que, la Ordenanza Regional N° 004-2019 -GR-LL/CR, es la que dispone instituir el Festival Turístico Regional de la Puya Raimondi en el Santuario Nacional de Calipuy, Distrito y Provincia de Santiago de Chuco en el Departamento de La Libertad.
Este espectáculo tiene por finalidad promover la valoración y conservación del Santuario Nacional de Calipuy como oportunidad para el desarrollo de actividades sostenibles en beneficio de las poblaciones locales.
