Recomendaciones que debes tener en cuenta si estás pensando vivir la experiencia de viajar en moto
Lima, 31 de marzo de 2023. Se acerca el feriado largo y es una excusa perfecta para los amantes de las motos coger una maleta, un casco, llaves y disfrutar de la experiencia de viajar en motocicleta para así poder recorrer, disfrutar el camino y la diversidad de nuestro país.
En esta oportunidad, Yamaha Riding Academy – YRA brinda algunos consejos indispensables que debes tener en cuenta si estás pensando viajar en moto por Semana Santa:
- Utiliza una motocicleta apta para el recorrido: se debe prever si el tipo de motocicleta es el adecuado para viajes largos y extremos. Se recomienda usar motocicletas de 250 cc en adelante, ya que responden mejor a las distintas exigencias sin esforzarla mucho, pero, si cuentas con una moto de menor cilindrada, también puedes hacerlo a tu ritmo.
- Mantenimiento previo: La motocicleta debe tener un mantenimiento días antes al viaje, para que puedan revisar todos los sistemas como el de arrastre, frenos, luces, llantas, motor, líquidos, entre otros. De ser necesario se tendrá que cambiar algunos componentes de acuerdo con el kilometraje promedio que se va a recorrer.
- Mapea la ruta: Verifica el recorrido que realizarás con paradas estratégicas de descanso y puntos de abastecimiento de combustible. Adicional a ello, averigua el clima por el cual harás el viaje porque en Perú se puede pasar de lugares muy calurosos a muy fríos y/o lluviosos en recorridos relativamente cortos.
- Lleva equipaje ligero: El equipaje de preferencia no debe ser muy pesado, ya que esto exige más a nuestra motocicleta y limita las maniobras que podemos realizar.
- No olvides los accesorios de seguridad: Usa implementación correcta como casco certificado, guantes, rodilleras, coderas y vestimenta larga de preferencia impermeable y reflectiva. Recuerda: tu seguridad siempre primero.
Los especialistas de Yamaha Riding Academy recomiendan hacer descansos de unos 10 a 15 minutos cada dos horas o 200 kilómetros para relajar el cuerpo y así poder hacer estiramientos, beber algo ligero y realizar una revisión rápida a la motocicleta, confirmando que no haya fugas o algún componente suelto.
Para finalizar, tener presente que al ser la motocicleta un transporte pequeño es difícil de ver para los demás conductores, siempre debemos ser visibles evitando los puntos ciegos. Además, para este tipo de viajes largos es importante tener un kit de herramientas básicas como líquido de parchado rápido de ruedas, lubricante de cadena recomendable cada 500 km, linterna, un inflador de ruedas portátiles, y cargadores portátiles para los celulares del piloto y pasajero. El peso de las maletas debe ser compartido 50 / 50.
