Brasil derrotó 2-1 a Chile en el Estadio Nacional de Santiago, con goles de Igor Jesús y Luiz Henrique, delanteros del Botafogo, el último tanto sobre el final del partido que le dio aire a la ‘Canarinha’ en las Eliminatorias al Mundial 2026
La selección brasileña de fútbol demostró su potencia en la novena jornada de las Eliminatorias Mundialistas CONMEBOL, derrotando a Chile por 2-1 en su propio terreno.
El partido comenzó con un gol temprano de Eduardo Vargas (CHI) en el minuto 2, pero Brasil igualó el marcador con un gol de Igor Jesús en el 45’+1′. Luiz Henrique selló la victoria brasileña con un gol en el 89′.
Este resultado coloca a Brasil en el 4to lugar de la clasificación, mientras que Chile ocupa el penúltimo puesto. La Roja no pudo resistir la presión brasileña y sufrió su segunda derrota consecutiva en las Eliminatorias.
