Estambul optimiza el tráfico con IA
El Ayuntamiento Metropolitano de Estambul (IMM) ha recurrido a SAS para crear una infraestructura digital de ciudad inteligente. Gracias a la analítica de SAS, los ingenieros y planificadores de Estambul pueden comprender, prever y gestionar mejor los problemas de tráfico de la ciudad.
En esencia, el nuevo sistema funciona con IA y machine learning en SAS Viya. Analiza datos históricos de tráfico e incorpora fuentes de datos en directo procedentes de una red cada vez mayor de fuentes, como cámaras de tráfico, sensores, lectores de datos, aplicaciones móviles y pasarelas de pago.
Los resultados de este análisis pueden optimizar las rutas de autobús con nuevos datos de tráfico y pasajeros para mejorar el servicio y la disponibilidad de las rutas. También puede anticipar anomalías de tráfico como accidentes, cierres de carriles y zonas de congestión repentina en tiempo real analizando las densidades de las rutas, el comportamiento de los conductores y los mapas de trayectos. Con los modelos de analítica, las operaciones viarias de IMM pueden controlar mejor los semáforos y notificar a los conductores mediante señalización digital y aplicaciones móviles.
«Gracias a la inteligencia artificial y la analítica de SAS, el gobierno municipal de Estambul puede evaluar las condiciones del tráfico en tiempo real, anticiparse a los puntos conflictivos, dirigir el tráfico de forma inteligente y guiar a los ciudadanos en sus desplazamientos», afirma Naim Erol Özgüner, Director de Información de IMM.

Wienerberger: de fábricas de ladrillos a fábricas basadas en datos

Wienerberger recurrió a la analítica de IA e IoT de SAS, ejecutando SAS Viya en Microsoft Azure Cloud, para ayudar a optimizar los costes energéticos y alcanzar sus ambiciosos objetivos de sostenibilidad. Para el 2023, la empresa pretende reducir las emisiones en un 15% en comparación con el 2020 y ser completamente neutra para el clima en el2050.
Wienerberger recopila datos de una amplia gama de fuentes, desde dispositivos IoT de última generación y sensores en todas sus fábricas hasta datos medioambientales sobre el clima y la humedad, pasando por comprobaciones puntuales de los productos durante y después de la producción.
