Políticas públicas buscarán desarrollo de juventud en zonas rurales de Amazonía y Sierra

  • Propuestas fueron analizadas por presentantes de UNESCO, IEP y Midis

Propuestas de políticas públicas en favor de la juventud rural, para mejorar el desarrollo de los jóvenes de las zonas alejadas del país, fueron analizadas en una sesión de trabajo por autoridades del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis), el Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (IEP) y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO).
En la sede central del Midis, Adriana Urrutia, investigadora de IEP; Martín Vegas, coordinador del Programa de Educación Secundaria Rural de la UNESCO en el Perú; y Alex Ríos, especialista en Monitoreo y Evaluación en Educación de UNESCO, presentaron las propuestas orientadas al desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales, saberes locales, participación ciudadana y dimensión productiva de los jóvenes que habitan en zonas rurales.
Los investigadores de IEP y UNESCO destacaron la importancia de atender a los jóvenes, dado que en esa etapa de sus vidas forjan su identidad y toman decisiones que marcarán el futuro personal, familiar y de sus comunidades.
La titular del Midis, Ariela Luna, saludó la iniciativa de IEP y UNESCO de compartir sus aportes para visibilizar y poner en la agenda pública el desarrollo de los jóvenes que habitan en el sector rural.
“La gestión territorial es clave para abordar los temas de la juventud rural, y por eso los alcaldes tienen un rol importante. En el Midis estamos trabajando mucho en el desarrollo de la niñez, y nos interesa hacer la continuidad con la adolescencia y la relación con su comunidad”, manifestó la ministra Ariela Luna.
Asimismo, señaló que en el Midis junto al sector Educación y Salud están buscando impulsar el desarrollo de los adolescentes y jóvenes de la Amazonía y de zonas vulnerables como el Valle de los ríos Apurímac, Ene y Mantaro (VRAEM).
En la reunión también participó el director general de Políticas y Estrategias del Midis, Rodrigo Salcedo, quien consideró que se tomarán en cuenta las propuestas de IEP y UNICEF en el diseño de políticas orientadas a los adolescentes y jóvenes; mientras que el director ejecutivo de Foncodes, Hugo Vila, resaltó que a través del proyecto Haku Wiñay / Noa Jayatai se cuenta con jóvenes Yachachiq que debido a sus saberes en el trabajo de campo fomentan actividades productivas y revaloran la cultura de los pueblos andinos y amazónicos.
