Se produjo en la mayoría de distritos y su media fue 2,4 milímetros por m2
Desde el Centro de Operaciones Regional (COER La Libertad), se informó anoche que la inusitada lluvia que cayó al caer la tarde y entrada la noche de ayer lunes ocurrió debido a un trasvase de humedad (nubes) del oriente traídas por los vientos, pasando la cordillera de los andes hasta llegar a la costa.
El gerente de Defensa Nacional y Defensa Civil del Gobierno Regional de La Libertad, César Campaña Aleman, informó al gobernador (e), Ever Cadenillas que este evento ocurre por un tema de corrientes atmosféricas, pero no deben causar preocupación en la población.
“Este tipo de lluvias por trasvase son casi siempre de mediana a regular intensidad”, puntualizó, agregando que después de monitorear sus resultados no hubo complicaciones o activación de quebradas.
Este tipo de lluvias ocurren debido a un raro fenómeno atmosférico de tipo hidrometeorológico que hace que las nubes de lluvia de la selva trasvasen la cordillera de los andes y lleguen a la costa, precisó.
La lluvia de ayer tuvo una media de 2,4 milímetros por m2 y en promedio duro entre media hora a 45 minutos, cayendo en la mayoría de distritos de la provincia de Trujillo, en algunos lugares con regular intensidad.
