Múnich.- El Foro sobre Infraestructuras de Datos Innovadoras (Foro IDI) 2023, que gira en torno al tema «Nuevas aplicaciones ∙ Nuevos datos ∙ Nueva resiliencia», se ha celebrado hoy en Múnich (Alemania). El Foro reúne a expertos y socios de la industria mundial para explorar el futuro de la infraestructura digital hacia la era del yottabyte (un yottabyte equivale a un cuatrillón de gigabytes). En el foro, Huawei profundizó en una serie de temas diferentes, tales como la adopción del ecosistema de aplicaciones emergentes, el manejo eficiente de masas de datos no estructurados, y la mejora integral de la resiliencia de los datos, con el fin de desbloquear el valor de los datos hacia la evolución de la industria de almacenamiento de datos.
Huawei cree que el almacenamiento de datos se enfrenta a grandes cambios y grandes oportunidades a medida que se profundiza en la transformación digital:
En primer lugar, el 56% de las empresas despliegan aplicaciones de IA, mientras que el 96% de las empresas planean construir aplicaciones nativas de la nube para hacer frente a las aplicaciones de datos en constante cambio.
A continuación, los datos crecen exponencialmente. El 80% de los nuevos datos son datos no estructurados con una tasa de crecimiento anual compuesta (CAGR) del 38%.
Por último, pero no por ello menos importante, la resiliencia de los datos se enfrenta a graves desafíos. El ransomware evoluciona constantemente y el número de ataques crece a un ritmo anual del 98%. Preocupantemente, más del 14% de las empresas son incapaces de restaurar sus datos después de un ataque de ransomware.
